Spent ages on the prep work: cleaning, sanding, dusting, filling holes, sanding again, dusting again, sugar soap wash etc (the wall is old and had a very uneven surface!). I primed with Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3 water based Primer-sealer, let dry for about a day, then painted x2 thin coats of Dulux Bathroom easycare with about 6. If you're worried about condensation/mould, use Zinsser Permawhite (which can be tinted to most pastel shades). Much better stuff. If condensation is not a problem, just use Dulux Trade matt vinyl, or even better, Little Greene Intelligent Emulsion.
